For anyone who’s stopped calling ocotillo “that spiky stick thing” and can now identify it by its many thorny appendages.

This desert plant notebook ships more slowly because it doesn’t exist until you order it. So you’re getting a fresh product instead of a notebook that forty-seven people picked up, reconsidered, and put back slightly crooked.

This desert plant notebook features hand-drawn barrel cactus, ocotillo, and Arizona poppies on the cover, the plants that make spring in the Sonoran Desert look like someone turned the saturation up too high. I drew these after years living in Arizona, learning that the ocotillo looks dead for 9 months and blooms bright red after the slightest rain.

The notebook has 140 dotted pages for bullet journaling or recording which trails had the best wildflower displays this year. The soft-touch cover feels good under your hands, and the metal wire-o binding lets the notebook lie flat when you’re trying to draw the swoop of an ocotillo branch.

Everything in this shop is made to order just for you, which means there’s no warehouse of extras to swap things out when something goes sideways. Here’s how I handle it when it does.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel, email support@nicolep.me as soon as possible. Once Printful starts production, the order can’t be stopped. I can’t cancel or refund orders that are already in production, so the sooner you reach out, the better.

Damaged, defective, or misprinted items

If your order shows up looking wrong, like the print is off, the item is damaged, or there’s a manufacturing defect, email support@nicolep.me within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. I’ll file a claim with the printer and get you a replacement or refund once it’s approved. You won’t need to ship anything back.

Wrong size, wrong color, changed your mind

Since everything’s printed on demand, I can’t accept returns or exchanges for size mistakes, color preferences, or buyer’s remorse. Please check the size charts and product details before you buy.

Goodwill refunds

If something feels off and your order is under $25, reach out, and I’ll make it right. This is handled on a case-by-case basis and isn’t a formal policy, but I’d rather you leave happy.

Refunds

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Shipping isn’t refunded unless the problem was a printing or fulfillment error.
